Randy Barlow: Packaging Ampache in Fedora

Hello Fedora Hackers! I’ve been working together with Remi Collet and
Shawn Iwinski to package Ampache and its list of
dependencies for Fedora. Ampache is a music server that allows you to
listen to your music catalog in your web browser. There are even a
variety of mobile applications that allow you to listen to your music
on the go, such as
DSub.

We’ve made a fair amount of progress with 25/41 spec files written.
If you’d like to get involved in the packaging effort, we’ve
been using Fedora’s Wiki to
organize the effort. You can
put your name next to any dependency you’d like to package. Another way
to help is to review packages – any package in that list that has a BZ
link that isn’t green is one that probably hasn’t been reviewed yet.
