Giannis Konstantinidis: Stepping down from the Fedora Project

Joining the Fedora Project is one of the best choices I have ever made. I am glad I discovered the amazing world of free and open-source software. I am grateful for many opportunities provided. I am proud for my contributions to the project and the community.

The Fedora Project has an amazing community – its contributors, who connect from all parts of the globe, contribute their time, talent and skills for the benefit of millions of users worldwide.

It is with great regret that I have decided to step down, effective immediately, as FAmSCo Member, FAmA Member, Ambassador Mentor, Ambassador and L10N Contributor. I am currently running low on free time. I will be focusing on finishing my undergraduate studies this academic year.

Fedora will remain my primary GNU/Linux distribution and operating system. I will continue to advocate for Fedora and free and open-source technologies. I will continue contributing to the Fedora Project, occasionally.

Thank you for everything. You are all amazing!

PS: Who knows, I might return in the future. 🙂
